Founded during 2012, GoTo Marketers (GTM) is an award-winning, full-service digital marketing agency purposely created to help companies thrive in the digital world. Having been built on the proposition that there is no magical unicorn of marketing that can do it all, GTM helps organizations create the foundational infrastructural components of their clients’ marketing engine. Let’s face it, without a solid foundation of a great Internet presence, amazing optimized content and insightful analytics, coupled with a solid strategy and plan, all companies will usually fail.
Continue reading “Sponsor Highlight”Hey folks – WordCamp Hamilton 2019 is coming up quick, and we’re happy to release the schedule for the day!
We also want to make some noise about our after-party at Ye Olde Squire!
After the sessions are over, join us afterwards at Ye Olde Squire (a short 5 minute walk) for some complementary snacks, some beverages and most importantly, networking with fellow WordCampers! Be sure to get your ticket and let us know if you’ll be attending!
As WordCamp Hamilton 2019 approaches, we are happy to finally announce our sessions! We’re really proud of our speaker lineup this year, and we hope that we’ll have something for everyone. Our schedule will be posted in the next few days – so keep an eye out for it!
Tickets for WordCamp Hamilton 2019 are now on sale!
What’s included in your ticket (which costs a very reasonable $20)?
Not sure what to talk about? Below is a list based on the list from WordCamp Europe in 2018 that you might find helpful. Over the coming months, we’re hoping to poll our own members to find out what they want to learn as well.
Ready to submit? Check out our Call for Speakers.
Continue reading “Talk Ideas”We’re always hearing from excited people who want to help out with WordCamp Hamilton but aren’t sure how. Here’s your chance!
We need a team of people who want to help make WordCamp Hamilton 2019 as pleasant as possible. Our volunteers help with everything from ensuring that the registration process runs smoothly to ensure that we’re capturing video of all of the talks.
Continue reading “Call for Volunteers”We are looking forward to all kinds of talks from all kinds of folks at WordCamp Hamilton! We encourage people from all over to attend, but we always want to promote our local talent. Don’t ever think you have nothing to share.
This year, during our meetups, we’ve looked at a number of topics, which we chose at the beginning of the year in an all out planning session. But we’re not done yet! Now, we get to elaborate on those topics and find some new ones. You can find out more about our monthly local meetup on Meetup.com.
Got a topic that you think our membership might be interested in hearing about? Did you learn something at our meetup and now want to show it off? We are hoping to have some great local talent, as well as bringing in speakers to our great city from all around with amazing knowledge. Last year, we ran a diversity workshop, along with a survival guide to your first WordCamp leading up to our event, which we might still do again.
WordCamp Hamilton returns for its 5th year, this June and we’re hoping to have another successful edition.
With crowds of bloggers, developers, users, educators and more, WordCamps help grow the local WordPress community with a low-cost conference aimed to spread knowledge and inspiration to all who attend.
Simply put, without our generous sponsors, WordCamp Hamilton would not be affordable to the vast majority of the WordPress community. For just $20 our attendees have a full day to gain insight from our speakers, network with others, and learn more about the open source WordPress project whose mission is to democratize publishing through Open Source, GPL software. All of our valued sponsors, by donating to WordCamp Hamilton, continue to make this mission a reality. Thank you both to our sponsors, and all of those who sponsor WordCamps around the world!
We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Hamilton is officially on the calendar!
WordCamp Hamilton 2019 will be on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at McMaster Innovation Park.
